Following a highly successful inaugural event, the Pan-European Electronics Design Conference (PEDC) returns, this time to Prague, Czech Republic, Jan. 21–22, 2026.
The event is jointly hosted and organized by the Electronics Design and Manufacturing Association (FED) and the Global Electronics Association. In this Q&A, Peter Tranitz, the Global Electronics Association’s senior director of technology solutions, shares the value of attending PEDC, which aims to bring together PCB designers from across Europe to learn, network, and share their own knowledge.
Peter, the second annual event is coming up in January. What can you tell us about this year’s event?
After a very successful first-of-its-kind Pan-European Electronics Design Conference, our partners from FED and our team at the Global Electronics Association immediately decided to set up another PEDC, and here we are.
Over the past several months, we have conducted interviews with several of the speakers from the first event, which are available on LinkedIn, so you can listen to the topics they are engaged with in Europe and beyond.
This year, we have had even more high-quality abstract submissions, which led us to schedule three parallel tracks for the second day, whereas last year we only had two for the whole conference. These tracks are Silicon-to-Systems; AI, Software & Tools; Sustainable Design, Product Life Cycle (PL), and AI.
The first day will be filled with keynotes and panels in special sessions.
