The Marketing Minute: New Year, New Marketing Momentum
Every January, we all make the same promises: "This is the year I get in gear. This is the year I move more. This is the year I stop coasting and start doing things with intention."
Well, here’s a thought: If you’re putting energy into a “new you,” your marketing could use the same treatment.
Get Into Gear With Dynamic Marketing
For years, many electronics companies have relied on the marketing version of treadmill walking: steady, familiar, predictable, and safe. A few ads here, a banner placement there. Repeat. That is a solid effort with a consistent pace, but it lacks acceleration.
Meanwhile, the industry (and audience) has picked up speed and is steaming ahead at a fast pace. Engineers want technical information in multiple formats. Executives are seeking market insights across various platforms. Younger professionals are entering the field with entirely different media habits.
If you want to keep up with the industry, you need to get moving. Dynamic brands don’t rely on one static touchpoint. They build movement into their messaging.
Movement is a story that travels:
from a podcast to a reader’s commute
to a newsletter in their inbox
to an article they share with their team
to a conversation at a trade show where they say, “I’ve been seeing your name everywhere.”
Movement like this creates recognition that brands need to stand out in a crowded field.
One company had been running effective ads, but they weren’t getting the results they wanted. This company came to I-Connect007 to add some needed movement to their brand. They added a podcast interview, a brief editorial story, and a few consistent mentions in the newsletter. When sales prospects reached out, they were already attuned to the company’s offerings and capabilities and were ready to buy.
The Year to Get in Gear
If you’re starting 2026 with a resolution to be more active, more intentional, more energized, let your marketing follow suit. Static strategies won’t keep pace with a dynamic industry.
Start the new year with a strategy built for momentum. Let I-Connect007 map out your 2026 marketing approach.
