GCT Semiconductor Launches Commercial Shipments of 5G Chipset

GCT Semiconductor Holding Inc., a leading designer and supplier of advanced 5G and 4G semiconductor solutions, announced the first commercial shipments of its 5G chipset to GCT’s lead customers. The shipments follow successful qualification and adoption, as highlighted in GoGo’s recent announcement, marking a key milestone in GCT’s 5G revenue growth trajectory.
The recently announced launch of GoGo’s 5G air-to-ground network further underscores the growing demand for GCT’s 5G solutions and reinforces the Company’s positioning for expanded 5G commercialization and continued market penetration in 2026 and the years ahead.
“The commercial launch of our 5G chipset marks a pivotal step forward for GCT and represents an important milestone in our ability to generate revenues from our 5G products,” said John Schlaefer, CEO of GCT. “Customer response has been extremely encouraging, and we are seeing strong interest across multiple 5G applications. With partners like GoGo launching new 5G networks, we believe this is just the beginning of a significant growth cycle for our technology and business.”
With the successful commercial launch, GCT completed its 2025GCT – Year of 5G program in line with the previously announced anticipated timeline, which guided for commercial shipments to commence at the end of Q4 of 2025.
