Acculogic to DemoNewly Launched Scorpion Briz Test & Programming Station at productronica
October 19, 2015 | Acculogic Inc.Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Acculogic Inc., a global leader in electronic production test solutions, announces that it will exhibit in Hall A1, Booth 465 at the productronica International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place Nov. 10-13, 2015 at the Messe München exhibition center in Munich, Germany. Company representatives will demonstrate the newly introduced Scorpion Briz Test & Programming station.
The Scorpion Briz is a compact, totally customizable, all-in-one test station. It can be configured to perform in-circuit, functional and boundary testing, and in-system programming. As a result, in one manufacturing stage users can achieve the highest level of test coverage, perform device programming, and meet and exceed throughput requirements. This makes the Scorpion Briz a truly affordable tester.
Equipped with a quick changeover, mechanical tester fixture, with the Scorpion Briz the need for a vacuum pump is eliminated. This allows the Scorpion Briz to be quickly and easily deployed at various locations across the production floor, and there is a reduced need for fixture storage space.
Also on display, the FLS980 Series III with the Ultimate Accuracy Package Option along with high throughput features such as the latest version Flying Bed of Nails (FBON). The new ThermoScan thermal imaging test solution and MicroScan miniature image observation and testing solutions also will be displayed.
Acculogic’s test engineering services can help customers at critical phases of product verification and test strategy, and shorten time to market. The company’s Test Engineering division offers a comprehensive range of turn-key services that range from in-circuit test fixture and program development to sophisticated application development on custom functional test platforms.

Study on Resonance Mitigation in Metallic Shielding for Integrated Circuits
07/08/2025 | Article by Maria Cuesta Martin, Victor Martinez, Vidal Gonzalez Aguado, Würth ElektronikInherent cavity resonant modes often lead to significant degradation of shielding effectiveness, responsible for unwanted electromagnetic coupling. Cavity resonant modes of the metal shielding enclosure can produce two adverse problems: the mutual coupling among different RF modules and shielding effectiveness reduction of the metal enclosure. The cabinets serve to shield certain components from electromagnetic interference (EMI). However, these cavities present some resonance peaks at 5 GHz, making it impossible to use them at higher frequencies.

The emphasis was on “resurgence.”
I-Connect007 Editor’s Choice: Five Must-Reads for the Week
06/13/2025 | Marcy LaRont, I-Connect007Today is Friday the 13th, and in much of Western folklore, this is a day when bad luck is lurking. But while Friday the 13th may top Western superstition charts, the global calendar is sprinkled with its own unlucky legends. In Spain and Greece, the bad juju lands on Tuesday the 13th—a day linked to Mars, the god of war, and naturally, chaos. In Italy, it’s Friday the 17th that is feared, thanks to the Roman numeral XVII, which can be rearranged to spell VIXI—Latin for “I have lived” (a poetic way of saying you’re dead).
