Lite-On Technology Posts Flat October Revenue

Lite-On Technology has reported October consolidated revenue of NT$19.76 billion ($602.9 million), maintaining the same revenue level as the same period last year. The figure, however, was 4% lower compared to the previous month. Cumulative sales for January to October totaled NT$178.95 billion ($5.46 billion) due to the global lukewarm ICT demand this year.
The optoelectronics business segment contributed a 23% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue. Thanks to the increased demands from LED lighting, the company's overall LED components and lighting products sustain their revenue growth.
The IT business segment accounted for 49% of sales with a revenue growth of 3% YoY, of which the power systems’ October revenue grew approximately by 10% YoY as a result of increases in global demand for server and networking power management systems in cloud computing, mobile devices and game consoles.
The storage business segment, which accounted for 18% of sales, achieved over 10% YoY growth, driven by the increased demand for game consoles.
