Lite-On Technology January Sales Falls 9% to NT$17.34B

Lite-On Technology has reported January consolidated revenues of NT$17.34 billion, a decrease of 9% both month-on-month and year-on-year due to the global lukewarm ICT demands.
The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 25% share of Lite-On's overall revenue. Thanks to the increased demands, LED vehicle Lighting enjoyed a revenue growth of 30% YoY while LED components presented a growth of approximately 10% MoM, driven by ongoing market share gains.
Information Technologies business segment accounted for 48% of overall sales, of which consecutive growths were shown in clouding computing application products such as high-end servers and networking power management systems and high-end server enclosures. The Storage accounted for 17% of total revenue with a revenue growth of 3% MoM.
