Lite-On Technology Posts April Sales of NT$17.2B

Lite-On Technology has reported April consolidated revenue of NT$17.23 billion ($529.37 million), up 0.3% year-on-year but down by 6.3% month-on-month. Cumulative sales from January to April totaled NT$67.04 billion ($2.06 billion).
The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 23% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue in April. Thanks to increased demands, the LED vehicle lighting segment enjoyed a revenue growth of over 20% YoY while the LED component sector continued market share gains.
The Information Technologies business segment, which accounted for 49% of sales, was driven by strong growth of the clouding computing application products. Meanwhile, the Multi-Function Peripherals business achieved a revenue growth of 10% YoY, thanks to shipment increases from its laser models.
Accounting for 19% of total revenue, the Storage business segment achieved a sales growth of 30% YoY amid increased end-market demands.
