ITL Celebrates Double Win at KEiBA 2016

Integrated Technologies Ltd (ITL) has received the Manufacturing Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year awards at Kent’s most prestigious accolade, the Kent Excellence in Business Awards (KEiBA).
“We are over the moon to have won two KEiBA Awards once again. Especially Large Business of the Year, which saw us up against some very diverse and strong competition,” said ITL CEO Tom Cole. “We have a number of new designs coming to market this year and our order book is strong - things are really looking positive for the future at ITL.
“Since our double KEiBA win in 2014 local awareness of ITL has rocketed and we have managed to find three excellent apprentices that will be joining us very soon.”
The KEiBAs, now in their eighth year, are run by the KM Group and Kent County Council. ITL were given a special mention in the KM Group’s award report, who noted that the company successfully “pulled off the double double by scooping two prizes at Kent’s biggest business awards for the second time in three years.”

Each competitor was given sixty minutes to assemble a complex printed circuit board with their performance judged in accordance with IPC-A-610 Class 3 criteria. Each competitor’s efforts were rated on the merits of the results achieved, scored on the quality of the assembly process, the electrical functionality of the assembly and the speed at which the assembly was produced.
