October 31, 2017 | NEO TechEstimated reading time: 1 minute
NEO Tech has announced that its second Agave manufacturing site is now open and fully operational. Located in Ciudad Juarez Mexico, the new building features an area of 190,000 square feet.
The new facility increases NEO Tech's manufacturing capacity at the Agave site to nearly 400,000 square feet, enabling NEO tech to deliver expanded value-add manufacturing services such as complex box build and systems integration, direct fulfillment, and repair and refurbishment services, as well as engineering solutions such as failure analysis, DFM and DFT, and functional test development.
The expansion comes as a result of NEO Tech's business growth as well as increased demand for the company's low- to mid-volume solution services in the industrial, medical and aerospace segments. The NEO Tech solution set includes complete product commercialization services that span initial product design through market commercialization. These include various manufacturing and aftermarket services that current and new customers have found attractive and continues to fuel an increase in demand for the NEO Tech nearshore solution in Mexico.
The facility opened with a recent open house celebration attended by customers and local dignitaries. Guests participated in the ribbon cutting and an opening ceremony that was followed by site tours.
