BESTProto Adds 3rd Proto Line with Mycronic

BESTProto Inc. has announced the acquisition and installation of a new Mycronic MY-300 pick and place line adding to its other (3) pick and place machines.
The new MY-300 will assist BESTProto in assembling complex low volume and prototype electronic assemblies. This new machine uses the Mycronic APM suite which helps prepare and sequence jobs more readily and will help to deliver projects faster and more accurately.
Along with the new pick and place machine BESTProto had its MyData machine server network updated for more consistent part library support.
“We have been fortunate to have such loyal customers where we had the confidence as a business to make this new investment.” Garth Cate, business development manager at BESTProto Inc stated.
The equipment started producing prototypes and small volume complex builds in the beginning half of July 2019.
