ECT, ScanCAD Partner on Process Management Work Instruction Software
October 14, 2009 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
POMONA, CA — Everett Charles Technologies (ECT), a Dover Company, finalized a strategic partnership with ScanCAD International, a global supplier of process management tools. This partnership provides for ScanCAD International to exclusively distribute and support the ProWorks process management work instruction software family of products globally within the electronics industry. "The ProWorks Work Instruction Software (WIS) products combine a dynamic blend of process management, work instruction and manufacturing execution software (MES) that allows for the dissemination and collection of manufacturing intelligence (MI) on the shop floor. These products fit nicely with ScanCAD's family of process management tools,” stated Mark Swart, VP of corporate research & development, ECT. “The timing of the ECT and ScanCAD partnership is perfect for a market intercept of the emerging WIS market. As regulatory requirements continue to increase, the global roll-out of ProWorks WIS products will enable sharing of more information in a controlled real-time environment," stated Bill Loving, president, ScanCAD International.
