PartnerTech President and CEO Leif Thorwaldsson is leaving the company to take up a position with the private equity group Altor as president and CEO of the ÅLÖ Group. Leif leaves PartnerTech at the end of October 2015.
Christer Härkönen, member of the board of Scanfil Oyj, will take over as CEO of PartnerTech for the duration of the integration phase following Scanfil's acquisition of PartnerTech. Härkönen's background covers a number of positions in various industrial companies for example as SVP Supply Chain at Sandvik Mining and Construction in Sweden and Holland, head of the RFID business of UPM Oyj as well as various executive positions in Elcoteq Oyj, Fujitsu ICL and Nokia. Christer assumes his role on October 1, 2015.

Scanfil EMS Oy’s Hungarian subsidiary Scanfil Kft has decided to close down the factory in Biatorbagy, Hungary. Closing the factory will finalize the restructuring related to PartnerTech factory network integration.
Scanfil announced in the Interim Report on 29 April 2016 that measures to eliminate overlap and streamline the factory network have been started in China.
The Board of Directors of Scanfil Sweden AB has decided to sell the entire share capital of its subsidiary PartnerTech Karlskoga AB, located in Karlskoga, Sweden, for a nominal selling price.
The Board of Directors of Scanfil Sweden AB (former PartnerTech AB) has decided to sell the entire share capital of its subsidiary PartnerTech Aerodyn AB, located in Karlskoga, Sweden, for a cash selling price of EUR 350,000.
Partnertech AB’s Norwegian subsidiary PartnerTech AS announced on 17 November 2015 the intent to reorganize operations of the company. At the same time, the company announced that they will start a communications and negotiations procedure with the representatives of the personnel groups as put forth in Norwegian law. The possibility of closing down the production of the plant was also discussed during the negotiations.
