Lite-On Technology Wins Corporate Citizenship Award

Lite-On Technology Corp. has won a Corporate Citizenship Award from CommonWealth Magazine for the 10th year in a row. This recognition is attributable to Lite-On’s outstanding performance in environmental protections, transparency in corporate governance, coupled with its successful social involvement programs such as the largest community assistance volunteer group in Taiwan caring for disadvantaged children and youths; Lite-On Award, which has been promoting the new generation of technological innovation; industry and academic cooperation building a training platform to connect theory and practice; and Taipei Xinyi community colleagues’ promoting lifelong learning for adults.

Making every effort to be a good corporate citizen, as of 2016, Lite-On has been selected as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for five consecutive years; included in the composition of MSCI Global Sustainability Indexes for two consecutive years; ranked as a Top 20 company in Asia in Channel NewsAsia Sustainability Ranking; ranked in the Top 5% listed companies of the Corporate Governance Evaluation by Taiwan Stock Exchange; and awarded a total of eight CSR Awards from Global Views Magazine. Meanwhile, Lite-On has been named one of the Leading Companies in Climate Disclosure Leadership (CDLI) Index as well as awarded Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award for 5 consecutive years.
