MC Assembly Lands Contract from US Army Tank Command
May 29, 2018 | PRWEBEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
MC Test Service Inc. (dba MC Assembly), a leader in electronics manufacturing, engineering, test, sustainment and support for advanced electronic systems and sub-systems assembly, has been awarded a new contract to support the U.S. Army Tank Command (TACOM) in Warren, Michigan.
The new contract calls for MC Assembly to provide the manufacturing, engineering test and support of critical card assemblies for TACOM. MC Assembly will provide the reprogrammable circuit card assemblies used in the M1A1 Abrams main battle tank ballistic computer system. The application will support domestic and foreign applications.
“We’re honored for the opportunity to support the U.S. Army and our nation’s platforms,” said MC Assembly President and Chief Executive Officer George Moore. “We look forward to sustaining this application with the highest level of quality and reliability for many years to come.”
The TACOM announcement comes on the heels of MC Assembly being awarded a Defense Logistics Agency contract to support the manufacturing, engineering, test and support of an Analog-to-Digital Converter Module (ADCM) supporting the Fire Control Computer.
MC Assembly was also recently awarded a new contract by the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Logistics Command in Albany, Georgia, to fabricate and test a Weapons Control Unit in support of USMC tactical ground vehicles.
Earlier this year, MC Assembly successfully completed a financial audit by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA).
“Our goal is to offer best-in-class services to our customers,” Moore said. “Our DCAA certification and recent government contract wins show that the federal government is taking notice of the quality and commitment of MC Assembly.”
