Sunstone Circuits Named Third in the Top Ten Healthiest Employers of Oregon
November 16, 2021 | Sunstone CircuitsEstimated reading time: 2 minutes

Sunstone Circuits was recently named as one of the Healthiest Employers of Oregon for the ninth consecutive year. By offering an engaging wellness program and encouraging the wellness of their employees, Sunstone was honored to place third in the “medium sized employers” category – those with 100-499 employees.
The Healthiest Employers of Oregon and HR Leadership awards are sponsored and produced by The Portland Business Journal and rewards companies for outstanding innovation and implementation of their own executed wellness programs. The Business Journal honored companies this year for their efforts to improve and engage employees in their own health and well-being.
Quality of life is impacted by our health – Sunstone recognizes the value of a healthy workforce. Working to create a wellness program that inspires employees to take care of themselves, physically, emotionally, financially, etc. Through education, challenges, newsletters, etc. We work to engage employees throughout the company on a variety of topics and activities to help drive participation and successful changes for employees at Sunstone. -Sheri Kuretich, Sunstone Circuits HR Manager/Wellness Coordinator
For the ninth year in a row, Sunstone Circuits has earned this award for continuing to maintain a wellness program that encourages its employees to live a healthy life style. Employees are encouraged to earn wellness incentives throughout the year, including getting an annual physical, participating in companywide challenges, going to the dentist, etc. Sunstone offers an onsite walking trail, fitness room and company-organized participation in local running and walking events. Virtual challenges and educational health content have become some of the main sources of engagement as the quest for healthy pandemic working conditions continue. With Covid protocols, this has been one of the most challenging years to implement the program and Sunstone is very proud of this year’s accomplishment of keeping the streak alive. Several employees have made lifestyle changes to improve their health and be more active and engaged.
As we focus on providing the best experience for our customers, we at Sunstone are also committed to our employees. We continue to provide competitive salaries, benefits and an excellent working atmosphere in hopes of helping to boost morale and create healthy lifestyles at work and at home. We know that good health contributes to a positive working environment and personal life – it’s why we continue to promote health and wellness here at Sunstone. – Terry Heilman, Sunstone Circuits CEO
