SEMICON Southeast Asia 2025 Celebrates 30 Years of Innovation Through Collaboration

SEMICON Southeast Asia (SEA), the region’s premier global electronics manufacturing and supply chain event, will take place from 20-22 May at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. Marking its 30th anniversary and spotlighting the theme of Stronger Together – Collaborating to Navigate Uncertainties and Fostering Resilience, SEMICON SEA will gather industry leaders, innovators, academia, and global policymakers to exchange insights, present emerging solutions, and forge partnerships. Registration is open.
SEAAccording to a 2024 market insights report by Statista1, Southeast Asia is emerging as a key global semiconductor hub, driven by strong market growth projected at 10.42% CAGR from 2025 to 2029 and rising demand for advanced technologies. Semiconductor production is increasing in countries like Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, while Singapore leads in innovation and sustainability initiatives. These combined strengths solidify Southeast Asia’s position as a vital player in supporting chip production and innovation to fuel industry growth.

Sustainability
SEMICON SEA 2025 will showcase the region’s efforts in promoting green semiconductor practices. The SEMI Global Climate Summit (GCS) Suppliers Sustainability Workshops, held in conjunction with SEMICON SEA, will propose strategies for direct emissions reduction, green energy transitions, and collaborative reporting and transparency.
