From Regional Contest to Global Stage: 15 Years of Growth
Since the Global Electronics Association—East Asia (formerly known as IPC Asia) held its first regional competition in 2010, IPC Masters has grown steadily over the past 15 years. What began with fewer than 10 participating companies has now expanded to include manufacturers from across China, covering key sectors such as aerospace, aviation, rail transit, automotive electronics, telecommunications, and consumer electronics, with thousands of participants to date.
Starting from a single hand-soldering event, the competition has evolved into a comprehensive platform combining theory and practice, encompassing multiple assembly processes. Today, it serves as a vital driver for promoting IPC standards, fostering industrial collaboration, and enhancing enterprise efficiency. It has become an important platform for nurturing highly skilled talent and enhancing product quality and competitiveness across the electronics manufacturing industry.
