Zhen Ding Named Among Business Weekly’s 2025 Top 100 Carbon Competitiveness
November 26, 2025 | Zhen Ding TechnologyEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
Zhen Ding Technology Holding Limited announced a new milestone in its sustainability journey, being selected by Business Weekly as one of the “2025 Top 100 Carbon Competitiveness Companies.” With outstanding achievements in both carbon reduction and business performance, Zhen Ding recorded a 23% annual carbon-emission reduction rate and a 27% increase in carbon productivity (revenue generated per metric ton of CO₂ emissions) in 2024, ranking fifth among all companies listed in the Top 100. This recognition underscores Zhen Ding’s firm commitment to green manufacturing and its competitive strength as a global leader in the PCB industry.
The Business Weekly “Top 100 Carbon Competitiveness” assessment is Taiwan’s only cross-industry evaluation that examines both carbon-reduction performance and business results. Conducted jointly by Business Weekly and academic partners, the analysis covers nearly one thousand companies. Key factors include three-year emission-reduction performance, carbon productivity, strength of decarbonization commitments, linkage between decarbonization and management performance, decarbonization plans and targets, and low carbon innovation in products and manufacturing processes. Companies selected for the Top 100 are regarded as benchmarks of Taiwan’s sustainable competitiveness.
Driven by its dual-engine strategy of “R&D × Low Carbon,” Zhen Ding continues to set new sustainability benchmarks for the PCB sector. Together with academic, research, and strategic partners, the Company is building a collaborative ecosystem to accelerate the mass production of low-carbon products. In 2024, environmental investments exceeded NT$1.8 billion, while Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emission intensity decreased by 69% compared with the 2013 baseline year. Zhen Ding also launched Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) assessments and adopted simulation platforms to enhance development efficiency and reduce trial-production energy use.
In 2025, the Company was included in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook for the third consecutive year, remaining the only PCB enterprise in Taiwan to receive this distinction. Zhen Ding also earned a top-tier “A” rating in CDP Water Security, further demonstrating its world-class green competitiveness.
In advancing circular economy practices, Zhen Ding continues to create high added value through advanced metal-recycling technologies. In 2024, the Company successfully recovered 333 kilograms of gold and 67 kilograms of palladium, showcasing the economic benefits of resource reutilization. On the manufacturing side, Zhen Ding has introduced multiple emission-reduction technologies, including total-heat-exchange chillers, magnetic-levitation blowers, permanent-magnet motors, waste-heat recovery from compressed air systems, energy-saving wire cutting machines, and chemical and copper- recycling solutions, significantly reducing energy consumption and chemical waste.
Looking ahead, as a global leader in PCB manufacturing, Zhen Ding recognizes that green competitiveness is the most critical long-term competitive moat for enterprises. Beyond reducing its own emissions, the Company is leveraging its influence across the global supply chain to build a resilient and sustainable industrial ecosystem together with international strategic partners. Guided by technological innovation, Zhen Ding will continue advancing cleaner, smarter, and more efficient manufacturing—leading the PCB industry into a new era of sustainable development.
