Somacis Group has completed its acquisition of Group ACB, a PCB manufacturer with operations in France and Belgium, further expanding the company's European manufacturing footprint and strengthening its capabilities in high-reliability PCB production.
The acquisition adds three manufacturing facilities to the Somacis network—two in France and one in Belgium—extending the group's manufacturing presence across Italy, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, and Belgium.
According to Somacis, the addition of Group ACB enhances the company's research and development, manufacturing, and customer support capabilities, allowing it to better serve customers in demanding sectors that require advanced, mission-critical PCB technologies.
"We are proud to announce that SOMACIS Group has completed the acquisition of Group ACB," the company said in a statement on LinkedIn. "The acquisition further strengthens Somacis Group's industrial footprint, positioning it as a key European player."
Group ACB is known for manufacturing high-performance printed circuit boards for industrial, aerospace, defense, medical, transportation, and other advanced technology applications. By bringing the two companies together, Somacis aims to expand its technological capabilities while increasing production capacity and strengthening customer support throughout Europe.
The transaction marks another step in Somacis' long-term growth strategy, which has focused on expanding its global manufacturing capabilities through strategic investments and acquisitions. The company said the combination will reinforce its ability to deliver advanced PCB solutions for increasingly complex electronic applications.
Somacis also welcomed Group ACB employees to the organization, saying, "We welcome the Group ACB team on board!"
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
