SMTA to Hold Expo and Tech Forum in Waterbury, Connecticut

The Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) Connecticut Chapter is holding an Expo and Tech Forum on Tuesday, October 20 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Waterbury Marriott in Waterbury. This expo is designed to enlighten professionals from all aspects of the technological field and all those interested in the new advances of leading corporations within the technological field.
The public is invited to attend and network with other professionals and listen to presentations regarding various aspects of the electronics field. In technical sessions, attendees will get a glance at the progress that has been made by leading technicians and corporations.
Admission is free for attendees and includes lunch. There will be a raffle for those who pre-register. There also will be separate raffles for those attending the technical seminars. One lucky winner will also receive a Google Nexus 7 that was generously donated by our sponsor, Conecsus.
"As a Chapter, our goal is to connect professionals from all over the state and neighboring states,” says Mark Siems who is the Treasurer of the SMTA CT Chapter and also the primary organizer of this year’s Expo and Tech Forum in CT. “This Expo is a great thing to attend; not only will you see all the advances that have been made in the technological field over the past year, but you’ll be able to network with professionals from across the country. Last year’s Expo was a huge success and I know that this year’s will be even better!"
