Analysis of Crosstalk Effects in Transceivers

Crosstalk does not fit neatly into the standard definitions of jitter components, so most commercial jitter analyzers misinterpret crosstalk. In a paper presented at DesignCon 2008, Dr. Daniel Chow of Altera explores the effects of crosstalk aggressors on a victim signal in a transceiver, with particular emphasis on jitter.
