Yamaha Motor Europe Hosts Annual Distributor Meeting at New Home in Hamamatsu

Yamaha Motor Europe SMT Section invited its European distributors to experience the Company’s impressive new factory in Hamamatsu, Japan at the 2020 annual distributor meeting.
Over three days, from January 28-30, delegates talked business, toured the newly opened 52,000m2 factory, and took time out at Yamaha Communication Plaza—the exhibition facility Yamaha created to share its pursuit of kando* through the exciting products of the past, present, and future.
Special presentations recognized the performances of the top distributors in the previous 12 months. Mr. Ryosuke Nakamura, Branch Manager of Yamaha Motor Europe IM business, presented the Most Valuable Service Award to Zoltan Szilassi of Elas, distributor for Hungary, and the Most Valuable Distributor Award to Mancini Enterprise Group which supports customers in Italy, Greece, and Croatia.
“Our distribution network is extremely strong and we look forward to even greater success in the coming years as our teams continue to grow together and benefit from the consolidation of our manufacturing at the new factory here in Japan,” he said.
